The Ordinance of Divine Service

Heb 9:1 ¶ Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
The book of Hebrew gave us a very vivid picture of what the acceptable kingdom service is expected to be. This scenario is what it described as the ordinance of divine service as seen in the above scripture.
We will look briefly into this to establish the truth concerning this subject of this book.
You will recall that God gave a commandment to Moses that a Tabernacle should be built for him in the wilderness.
Exod 25: 8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
The Tabernacle that was to be built is expected to have three distinct divisions. The first one is called the outer court which is like an open space created as the waiting lounge for the people who may be in the temple for the service.
After this was the second division, which was regarded as the first Tabernacle. This is where the scripture referred to as the worldly sanctuary.
Heb 9:1-2 ¶ Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
 2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
The third division is the one referred to as the second Tabernacle which was also known as the Holiest of all. There was a veil towards the end of the worldly sanctuary to demarcate this most sacred place.
Heb 9:3-5 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
 4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
 5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
While the first and the second Tabernacles were the most significant divisions of the temple, the Holiest of all stood out as the most sacred.
What are the things we should understand about these two divisions?
The first part of this temple called the first Tabernacle was where the congregation was expected to be.
These were people from all walks of life who probably came to offer sacrifices to God and worship him according to the laid down procedures.
It therefore means that these most of the time would be members with little or no understanding of the Lord. They are what can be described as unbelievers. This is why the only place they had access to was referred to as worldly sanctuary.
Another thing very peculiar about this place is that it was the only place all the priests were expected to do their services to God.
Heb 9: 6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
You will notice that their going into this part of the sanctuary was regarded as always, not once in a lifetime thing. It was the only place where they were expected to render their services to God.
Then, there was the Holiest of all in which only the High priest was allowed to enter once in a year to offer sacrifice.
Heb 9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
I like you to understand that the works of the priest must be done in the worldly sanctuary to be acceptable. This was the only approved place to render their service to become accomplished.
Heb 9: 6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
The service of the priest couldn’t be accomplished elsewhere unless it was carried out in the first Tabernacle.
There was no need for any of the priest to enter into the Holiest of all to render any service. I have made mention of the fact that only the High priest enter once in a year.
What exactly is the Holy Spirit trying to pass across to Christians in this our days by this structure?
All born again, spirit filled sons of God are the priests in this end time.
Rev 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
This means as priests, our assignment is primarily to the world if we are ever going to accomplish our service to God.
God expects that we go out and do service to humanity in his name that his will on the earth may be accomplished.
The second Tabernacle referred to as the Holiest of all is the body of believers in this end time.
Born again Christians are holy nations, and peculiar people unto the Lord.
1Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
The scripture established the fact that when anyone becomes born again; he is automatically enabled and made to enter into the Holiest of all.
Heb 10: 19 ¶ Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
The blood of Jesus Christ which was shed for the remission of sin becomes our guaranteed access into this Holiest place.
